Samsung Galaxy A55 Security update
Samsung has rolled out the September 2024 security update for the Galaxy A55 5G. This update focuses on improving system security and stability, ensuring a smoother and safer Galaxy experience.
The update, identified as version A556BXXS4AXH4, comes with a 232.11MB installation package. It’s currently available in Europe, with plans for a wider release soon.
The update addresses performance issues and resolves 1 critical and 43 high-level security vulnerabilities. Additionally, it includes 23 Samsung-specific improvements related to My Files, Theme Center, One UI Home, Knox, and Dex.
Samsung Galaxy A55: To manually check for the update, go to your phone’s Settings, scroll to the Software Update section, and click “Download and Install” if available.
Circle to Search
Last month, Samsung introduced the “Circle to Search” feature with the August 2024 patch, allowing users to quickly search their screens by simply drawing a circle around the content they want to look up.
The Circle to Search feature allows you to quickly search for anything on your screen without switching apps. Simply press and hold the Home button or navigation handle, then draw a circle around the content you want to search. This will instantly trigger a Google search directly from your screen.
