Samsung has started rolling out the 8th One UI 6 Watch Beta update for the Galaxy Watch 5 series, starting in South Korea. This update brings significant improvements in performance and stability. The Galaxy Watch 4 series is expected to receive this beta soon as well.
Though this is not the 8th update specifically for the Watch 5 series, it includes the same features as the 8th One UI 6 Watch Beta for the Galaxy Watch 6 series. Since the Beta Program for older watches like the Watch 5 began later, these models have received fewer updates.
By installing the latest One UI 6 Watch Beta on your Galaxy Watch 5 or Watch 5 Pro, you can expect better stability and smoother system performance. Additionally, the update addresses battery-related issues, leading to improved battery life and optimized power consumption, allowing you to use your watch for longer between charges.
For LTE model users, the update also resolves network connectivity issues. Since Bluetooth models depend on paired phones for connectivity, this fix primarily benefits LTE users.
Key Updates in One UI 6 Watch Beta for Galaxy Watch 5:
- Improved system stability and performance
- Optimized battery consumption for longer usage
- Fixed network interoperability issues for LTE models
To install the update, open the Galaxy Wearable app. If you’ve joined the Beta Program, you should already see the new build. A Stable update is expected to roll out to all users by November.
Keep your Galaxy Watch 5 updated to enjoy these enhancements!
