One UI 7.0 official release date confirmed by Samsung. Earlier this month, Samsung announced the expansion of the One UI 7 Beta program and shared the official rollout timeline for the stable update, which is scheduled for release next month. Samsung New Zealand has now confirmed that the official One UI 7.0 will be available globally within April, marking a significant step forward as Galaxy users have been eagerly awaiting this OS upgrade for over five months.
While Samsung has confirmed the public release of One UI 7 for April, the rollout timeline may vary depending on device models and carriers. It is expected that the official update will first be rolled out to the Galaxy S24 series next month, with other devices following suit.
Older flagship devices have recently joined the Beta Program, and Samsung may release additional Beta updates to address user-reported bugs. Once the testing phase achieves a satisfactory level of stability, the official update will be released to the public.
One UI 7.0 official release date and Beta Program
Currently, the One UI 7 Beta is available in seven countries for the Galaxy S24 series. Additionally, the Beta Program has been expanded to four countries for devices such as the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, Galaxy S23 series, and the Tab S10 series.
In a move to include mid-range devices, Samsung has also pledged to bring the One UI 7 Beta to the Galaxy A55 smartphone. The company confirmed that the A55 will be eligible for the Beta testing program within this month.
Furthermore, Samsung is internally testing One UI 7 Beta for the Galaxy S22 series. The company may launch a brief Beta Program for this lineup in select markets, though its availability will depend on the progress of internal testing.
This phased approach ensures a smoother rollout, with flagship devices taking priority before the update reaches older and mid-range models. Galaxy users worldwide can look forward to the official One UI 7.0 release in April, bringing a host of new features and improvements.
