Samsung Update Warning
A recent Samsung update has caused serious problems for Galaxy S10, Note 10, and M51 users, leaving their devices stuck in a boot loop and unusable. This issue forces users to perform a factory reset, which results in the loss of all data. To avoid this, it’s advised not to install any new updates without backing up your data first.
While updates are usually meant to improve performance and add features, sometimes they can cause major glitches, as seen here. The SmartThings Framework update is being blamed for the issue, causing devices to get stuck during the boot process.
Affected users are unable to access their phones or transfer data, making a factory reset the only option. Unfortunately, this process wipes out everything on the phone, including files, photos, apps, and social accounts.
If you face this issue and need to reset, you will also have to unlock FRP (Factory Reset Protection) by logging in with the same Google account previously used on the device. Without access to that account, resetting the phone becomes even more challenging.
Samsung has yet to officially address the problem, so it’s unclear whether the issue affects only a few models or more devices. If your phone is affected, it’s best to visit a Samsung service center to explore potential solutions before opting for a factory reset.
