Samsung has confirmed the expansion of its One UI 7 Beta program to more devices, including the Galaxy A55. Recent developments suggest that the beta update for the Galaxy A55 is imminent, as internal testing is progressing rapidly.
One UI 7 Beta Testing for Galaxy A55
The Checkfirm platform has already revealed One UI 7 Beta testing builds for the Galaxy A55, with the latest build upgraded to A556EXXU6ZYC1 from ZYB6. This indicates that Samsung is actively working on finalizing the beta release for the Galaxy A55.
Expanding the Beta Program
Currently, the One UI 7 Beta program is available for the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Z Fold 6. Samsung is now preparing to extend the beta program to include the Galaxy A55, alongside the Galaxy S23 series and Galaxy Tab S10 series.
Earlier this month, Samsung announced plans to expand the One UI 7 Beta to the Galaxy A55 by March 2025, suggesting the update could arrive soon. The beta program allows users to experience One UI 7 features ahead of the official release.
A First for the Galaxy A Series
The Galaxy A55 will be the first device in the Galaxy A series to receive the One UI 7 Beta. Additionally, a testing build has appeared for the Galaxy A54, which might also join the beta program. However, Samsung has not officially confirmed this yet.
