WhatsApp Introduces Custom Lists for Better Chat Management: New Beta Feature!

WhatsApp Introduces Custom Lists

WhatsApp has introduced a new feature in its latest beta update (version 2.24.22.5) for Android, allowing users to organize their chats using custom lists. This feature helps users filter conversations more efficiently, making it easier to find specific chats, whether for personal or business use.

With custom lists, users can now create personalized filters by selecting specific contacts and groups. Once a list is made, only the chosen chats will appear in the filter, which is displayed at the top of the chat list for quick access. The lists are private, and users can easily add, remove, or rename them as needed.

You can create up to 20 custom lists, keeping everything organized and clutter-free. The feature is currently available for some beta testers and will roll out to more users soon.

According to WaBetaInfo, WhatsApp’s new update lets users create personalized lists right from their chat list. This feature allows users to filter and show specific contacts and group chats. For example, a small business owner can easily make separate lists for customer inquiries, suppliers, and ongoing projects. This makes managing multiple chats easier and less cluttered.

The process is simple – once a list is created, it appears at the top of the chat list for quick access. Users can set it up with just a few taps using a dedicated button. These lists are private, so only the creator can view and manage them.

WhatsApp’s New Image Search Feature: Verify Images Easily

This feature is especially helpful for businesses. By organizing chats into categories like customer orders, inquiries, and payments, businesses can easily track important conversations and respond quickly. For example, a restaurant owner could create separate lists for reservations, feedback, and supplier communications, making sure all key conversations are easy to find and manage efficiently.
