Samsung Galaxy S20 FE
Samsung has rolled out the October 2024 security update for its Galaxy S20 FE 5G smartphone, improving device security and system performance. This update comes with the One UI version G781NKSS9GXJ1.
The October 2024 security patch includes important fixes from both Google and Samsung. Google addressed 2 critical and 28 high-level security issues, with some already resolved. On Samsung’s side, there are 12 security improvements for system services and Knox. Additionally, Samsung Semiconductor made enhancements to boost device performance.
Currently, users in Korea are receiving the update, and it will soon be available in other countries. The update file is around 275MB in size, so it’s recommended to download it over Wi-Fi.
To install the update, simply go to the Settings app on your phone, select Software Update, and tap on Download and Install. Follow the instructions on-screen to complete the installation.
The Galaxy S20 FE 5G is running on Android 13 with One UI 5.1 and will not receive updates beyond Android 13.
